Aromatic Australian Dry Gin
Made in honour of the love of her life, Colin, Maggie Beer has created The Farmer Australian Dry Gin. This gin is distilled using a special selection of aromatics gathered with great thought and love. Maggie writes: ‘Whoever would have thought that the dream of farming pheasants would be the key to the most amazing journey of our life together that began with our humble Farm Shop where Colin bred the birds and I cooked them and ‘the people came’.
Colin is the reason we live in the Barossa, farmer of pheasants, vines, olives and orchard and the absolute rock of the family. His gin, as dry as his wit with saltbush from our farm, fresh season pepper grown for us in Queensland and hints of orange, is my farmer in a bottle’. Enjoy this Australian dry gin served over ice with a splash of fine tonic water, then garnished with a strip of orange peel for a citrus twist. The Farmer gin is somewhat a lovesong of flavour from Maggie to Colin, and will make a unique gift for someone special.
